Love is all there is

Hello friends,

We closed our storefronts today. It was the right thing to do. We hope that it will be temporary and that if we can all hunker down and stay home for a bit, things will slowly return to some kind of normal. My husband and I opened Hanji Gifts almost 9 years ago now. It has been a labour of love and joy and adventure for even longer than 9 years though. After all, everything begins as a thought.

The most special part of it for me, was the beautiful human interaction that would take place in our shops. Our incredible staff who are such wonderful and devoted human beings have been like family to me. Every employee I have ever had, has felt like family. It was hard to close our doors but we know that that decision will keep everyone safe. 

We will try to keep our online shop up and running to the best of our ability. Your support during this time is so appreciated but we also know that so many of us are all facing a lot of financial unknowns right now. We understand. 

Please, if you can, stay home. To those of you who cannot, you are in our thoughts and prayers as you do what you need to do to keep society safe, well and secure. 

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We love you all and thank you for 9 years (and hopefully more) of some of the most magical moments of my life.
